Animania

Animania was fairly fun, nothing too exciting nor too boring but I got some cool stuff so I guess it wasn't too bad :)

Then we professed to be hungry (or maybe just me haha) and armed with a lacklustre of good navigational skills, we at last managed to direct ourselves to an alleyway dumpling shop, like back in Malaysia, kopitiam-style, wiping chopsticks and bowls 10 times before eating, dimsum and my carelessness spilling soup over the table. "hen hao chi! xie xie ni men" Marnie's love for Chinese and her opinions.

...afterwards it became a memory spiral because I can't recall what we did. (dear me I am not senile Erik!!! nooo) I just remember being really tired and walking and endless people abuzz, red lights, crossings and trains.

I asked during the course of the week if people in love really seem happier, if their faces glowed unanimously or smiles ablaze, but I don't suppose I'll really know.

"I wonder who first discovered the efficacy of poetry in driving away love!"

"I have been used to consider poetry as the food of love", said Darcy.

"Of a fine, stout, healthy love it may. Every thing nourishes what is strong already. But if it be only a slight, thin sort of inclination, I am convinced that one good sonnet will starve it entirely away."

Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

One of the things that I do remember is I have been shortlisted for the school editorial board and my interview is tomorrow ;)
